Looking great, Kass! Sorry about the snaffu. Hopefully won't take long to fix.

Oops! Glad you caught your snafu. Hope you and Jack have a very quick date.

Haven't felt good enough to sew for the past couple of days so I've been stalking the google images pages looking for quilt block ideas for the next boom. Found some real keepers I think, a few I am really excited to try out. Just depends on the right fabric. Finally broke down and took a pain pill maybe I'll be up to finishing those outer sashing.

Kass, hope the pain reliever helped.

We got news on Saturday that my BIL was in hospital having mini heart attacks every time he moved. He's going to be having open heart surgery to replace a valve that completely failed. This is so totally unexpected as he's the most active, fittest of men you can imagine and yet this happened so fast. We came home from our vacation weekend early and DH is already in California on the way to the hospital. So, now I've got time to work on the blue floral while I worry and wait for news. Anyway, here's my progress.

Next is the sashing between rows. Getting there!

Sorry to hear of your BIL's struggles. Praying. I'm sure it is difficult waiting to hear.

I'm ready for the next Boom. I have 10 electronic copies of 100 blocks!

Gram E so glad you feel up to joining in the next boom

Janice sorry to gear about your BIL, sending prayers and hugs.

Quilt is looking great Janice. We left the lake at 8 AM. Had planned on staying a few more days but between the crappy weather and more May flies then we have ever seen before decid d to head home. I sandwiched a couple charity quilts and quilted them. Now have 8 quilts to bind, will do them entirely by machine and guess I'd better started on them

Thanks, Terriamn and GramE. DH says his bro looks absolutely fine as long as he's in bed. It's when he "stresses" his heart by standing (imagine!) that's when he has AFib and needs to be shocked. There's no way he can go home before surgery and that hasn't been scheduled yet bc of the holiday weekend and the cardiac specialist he'll need is out of town. So a hospital bed it is for the time being.

We've got chiggers at the cabin, but few flies. Doesn't matter how I dress, how many showers I take or how often I change my clothes, I get attacked by the chiggers. If DH were here, I'd be taking antihistamines to calm the itching, the only thing that works for me, but they make me loopy and i still have to care for mom so I've got to put up with the itching. Luckily, I've got the pups to distract me.

GramE, so glad to hear you'll be joining us for 19. I love the blocks you make. I don't know if I'm in yet. I may not and continue working on my Ufos.

Janice glad you BIL is doing "relatively" well waiting for his surgery. Chiggars are straight from H*LL.

GramE glad you will be joining in on the next boom.

I still am not up to doing much sewing, napping a lot a lot of sinus washes w/ saline water. (near drowning events)
