When those blocks say 12", don't add any more. The blocks that we are making end up at 12", too, so they are perfect for us!

Love the shiney green Camero! We used to drag race with a green and gold one, back in 1972!

Hi Shaysmema,

Yours was the first to arrive. I got so excited I made the block already! I think it turned out nice. I'm going to enjoy looking at it for a day or two, then I'll mail it out probably on Monday or Tuesday. I hope you like it, too.

hugs, Jupiter

Let the fun begin!

Just as an FYI there are some 12x12 blocks in this listing, should be hard to add a 1/2 inch there.

Should be or shouldn't be?
LOL sorry. dang fingers. It should not be hard to add that 1/2 inch. I hand sewed a test piece last night, looks like it may work well without any extras.

I read through several of these patterns. They are fine as written. Finished size is 12", unfinished size is 12.5". The easy place to look is at the size of the center block. If it's 3 1/2" or 4 1/2" , well those 1/2" are your seam allowances.

Good bunch of patterns. Thanks!

I tried out the spinning L's. I love it, so a couple will be getting that pattern. Whee!

I looked at that one... Tried to imagine it as triangles and squares... then looked at the directions. Duh! What was I thinking! It looks really neat... and they made it a lot easier than I was imagining.
