one of the blocks i made for this swap used stamp sized pieces. the quilt idea will be a work in progress though. it takes about 7000-9000 pieces to make a large quilt and much more patience to sew such small pieces.

Ok, everyone, I've got a little bit of a problem here. The rest of my grown-ups will be going out tomorrow. They go to...
Ok Darla
Navarre2011
craft phanatic
kreinhart742
NanaKathy55
LauraEllen
Nurse Bonnie
Now here's the problem. I don't have an address sticker for Nurse Bonnie so hers might have already gone. I looked on all of the postings and found that what I may have done is just made a really cute Christmas block (for Nurse Bonnie) out of the F8 sent by QuiltinGranny but I've already sent QuiltinGranny her block a couple of days ago. I'm really confused.
Also... I still have address labels but no F8's from
Materialgirl
AngieS
fromzstore
Did you girls send them to me? Apparently I never recieved them. Please send again. I can have your blocks done easily by the dealine. Sorry this has turned into an issue. I promise I'll be much more organized next time.

Lillie can keep my F8 for her stash and not worry about my block.
Thanks!

WOW! Hard to believe that there are only 2.5 weeks left of this swap! 9/4 is fast approaching.
I'm so excited to be getting the remainder of my blocks!
For those of you who have done the boomerangs before - it it typical to get so many blocks the last 2 weeks? Also, are there many that show up late? Just curious.

heyjami your block and i are having some real separation anxiety issues here. i promise i will get it in the mail by saturday though. i have been having some serious talks with your block. i think it's ready to leave me or me part with it. i'm not really sure who is having the most issues, me or the block.

I've been using 1.5" squares as leaders and Enders, sewing them into 9-patch blocks. I think I have about 200 9-patches so far (I pin them together in sets of 10). I think I'll start making something bigger with them soon.
