Received 5 more today from mosher92, charlottemarie, dove 911, jaba and abby's mom. I am amazed at the number of fabrics I have not seen before. I can't wait to get started. Saturday is my sewing day.

Hey Y'all,
Just curious as to how you keep up with all the fabric you are now receiving? Here's how I did it for boom 6, my first boom. After marking the date I received it on the spreadsheet, I put the fabric, any note and the envelope in a large ziplock bag. Then I go thru my stash to see what matches and add that to the ziplock. Then I put all the filled ziplocks in a basket to keep together. That way everything is together and all I have to do is pull out a baggie when I am ready to sew!
Today I received squishies from CharlotteMarie, jaba, Mosher92, NCquilter, systraley
Some of you should start receiving my fat8ths tomorrow. If you click on the "boom7"link below
you can see a picture of the fabrics I sent out.
Have fun!

I mailed all but 5 F8s out on monday. I apologize in advance. Some of the F8s are a little short - hard to find fabric that is 44-45" wide anymore AND they include the selvage add in that the lady at the cutting table doesn't square up the fabric before cutting. I'm getting better cuts from the fabric I order on line and they have no customers standing there watching them! I've been happily impressed with my on line purchases. I think I'm going to do it more and more.
received F8s from:
jaba
ljdugas
dove911
Abby's Mom
abonda

Scrapquilt
sustraley

I'm loving all the different fabrics

Just to let everyone know when sending squishes (especially to me) if it gets caught in a machine along the way, more postage is needed. I find that if you fold the material the fit the envelope you have a better chance of it arriving fine. The machines around me must love to eat the envelopes-I have had to pay postage due on a few envelopes that have "tread" marks on them-the envelopes were taller than the 1/4" permitted by the 45 or 65 stamp. The clerk at my post office told me that the 45 stamp was for paper correspondence, nothing else-and they are pretty strict. I found a larger envelope, business sizes (for the F8ths) or 4 X 6 (for the finished blocks-those seams can get thick!)work well and I've been able to send them off for regular postage. Flatter is better
