The pattern is "Morning Glory" from 45 Quilt Blocks: Flowers by Trice Boerens. This is the first block I have made from this newly acquired book. The "black" fabric is a navy witb blue circles design placed as the flower center. Unfortunately, looking at your picture, it looks like I got it backwards?

One day at a time I am getting things done.....one-handed! Today these grown-up guys are boomeranging back home: Please forgive any imperfections done by my lonely right hand. Is anyone else having a problem getting the "enter" button to move the cursor the next line? It is driving me crazy. But I shall carry on before I throw my laptop out the window...abbysmom,alkat110,county1,elisabrat,golde ndog55,lovingizabella,lovingrandma,marcialee,moon work42029,mosher92,navarre2011,okdarla,phannie1rse ysue,themamahouser,urgodschild2.....hope you al like!

Nope not you about the enter thing, me too. Also I can't get pics to load any more from my pics in the computer, have to put them all in an album on the QB site before they will post. Takes twice as long and it's a real pain. Asked Patrice for help and she can't figure out whats wrong either. So don't throw your laptop, it's probably not the problem

    lovngrandma,

No, I didn't design the block I sent you. I found it in quilter's cache. I have little free time, so I developed a system to get my blocks done. I looked at your fabric and thought about what fabric from my stash it would look good with and in what kind of pattern. As soon as I finished dinner (which my husband prepares!) I started on a block, finished it and started cutting pieces for the next one. I only have one more to finish, but apparently the f8 for it is temporarily lost in the mail. I thought everyone would get a kick out of the Hello Kitty stamps!

Gaijin, my granddaughter LOVED the stamps and said she hopes you are in the next swap so she can get MORE stamps! Thanks for thinking about the kind of stamps you sent!

Marcialee and Travelinggrandma, how pretty!! I also will be glad to lay mine out except the hardest part seems to be picking out a sashing that makes the blocks stand out! I love what you did with yours marcialee!!

Here are the blocks I had gotten from Gaijian and Marcialee this past week. They are great. Looking for my last Christmas to start that quilt.

    Thanks for swapping, Phannie

i sure understand about the sashing. Since my fabric was very dark blue I am thinking of a very pale blue. Can't put it together until i get all the blocks so I can move them around per the colors and designs. I also have some multicolored mini striped fabric which I plan to cut on the diagnol for the binding.
Working now on the CottonRobin which is stretching me but I am loving it. Also found a great Free pattern called Anita's Arrowhead at Quiltmaker.com: http://www.quiltmaker.com/patterns/d...2909&idx=12909 and using up some of my stash. It is so easy and it looks so hard!! Actually made quiltingmommys block with the pattern!
