Rosemary that is an awesome package you got but you didn't say who you got it from. The QB has been acting weird lately and when I first got on this morning there were no words. I love your BOM blocks. I'm still sitting on the bench waiting. It's cold here today and may have some snow.
Everyone have a great day

I posted a picture of the November PC/NC collage on the November thread if anyone wants to see it. I couldn't wait any longer for the rest of the pictures.

Lynnie, I wish I could see your pillowcase. We have good friends who are Jewish and that has, of course, prompted much discussion amongst our kids about different beliefs, customs, etc....(we are Episcopalian)....and they have spent today wishing everyone they meet a Happy Hanukkah.

At the library someone asked them if they were Jewish and my 7 year old son said, "No, but not everyone you meet who says, Merry Christmas" is a Christian, so why can't we wish people a Happy Hanukkah?" How do you argue with that logic?

Lemony Snicket (a terrific children's author.....a not so great extemporaneous public speaker, lol) has written a wonderful book that gives a kids level explanation of Hanukkah for anyone who would like a better understanding of the "holiday." It is called: "The Latke Who Couldn't Stop Screaming."

Today is also my three youngest children's adoption day, the day they came to live with us forever. They are thrilled that it happened to fall on Hanukkah.
