Y'all are way ahead of me! I do finally have three sets ready to sew into the initial 4 patches. But must finish sewing binding on my runner for the favorite things swap first. And finish slicing, dicing and stitching blocks for the batik one.

I haven't been in a swap for a while and thought this might be fun! I love the pattern and love Valentines, so...had to jump in. Thanks for the welcome Jane!

I received a very good question on another thread re: '. . are the future swaps going to be with the same D4P pattern.'

I have ideas for ~~ 4 or 5 more color combo/themes for the D4P as long as there is interest in continuing with this particular block. I've also been thinking about doing another quilt block altogether; was thinking we could maybe choose something from Bonnie Hunter's free quilt patterns. Or maybe do a swap with the Bento Box? I found a pattern onlline - really cool w/ modified instructions. I have some other ideas too.

It really depends on what everyone else wants to do. Let me know your ideas on this. I'm game!

I agree with your thinking. I have been looking for fabric for those blocks for D4P to get a jump on the months. Looks like I need to wait to see if it something I want to do.

Finally got the rest of my fabric, so I will be cutting out Monday, and hope to have shipped by Fri/Sat.

Here is a Bento Box quilt block I made in a recent Boom. This particular block is 12 1/2" unfinished:

Quilters Cache is another resource that has a ton a great quilt block ideas. Another possibility is a scrappy swap. Any interest in that? Let me know!
