Dwina it's Nubble Lighthouse. I just love that one. I've been to the one in Portland too. It's going to snow here tonight. AGAIN. I hate snow

We are suppose to be in the teens tonight, but it seems a bit windier.

I finished up my pincushion, and half way through the needle book. Should have it out in the mail no later than Saturday, with a possibility of tomorrow. I hope my special person likes it. I tried something new I hadn't done before on the pincushion.

Everyone stay warm, and be careful when out shoveling, because they talk about many people who get sick from shoveling too long at one time.

Pat that is a pretty picture of all that amazing scenery.

Love the lighthouse picture! I have finished my January PC/NC and they are on their way! I hope my partner likes their box of goodies! Should arrive the middle of next week!

I have the NC and PC done and took pictures will pack it up and get it ready to mail tomorrow, just need to give it to the mailman... I got my new Keurig coffee maker from my son today, it's my Christmas present I told him to wait till after Christmas because of the deliveries...Had a cup while I was fixing dinner....

Got my paperwork for the hospital for next Thursday, have to be there at 7:30, starting to get edgy and I know better, have had this before and sailed through it... Know what they are doing and know I have to lay flat on my back for 8 hours afterwards,,, all that good stuff... Just had one of those " You'd like to forget days" today.. Phone went out, internet also.. Played phone tag with the hospital and also with the tax office... got a pin caught in my sewing machine while I was doing the center stitches of the NC... I look at it this way, there is someone else out there who had a worse day then I did and my heart and prayers go out for them, I'm okay and it's all gone, tomorrow will be better... Well think I may try and read some tonight, have a Audio book ready to listen to while I am in the hospital... Pray it will only be the one day... Hugs

Rosemary, I'm so sorry, but what is it you're going in the hospital for? So sorry, I must have overlooked it.
please get well soon and feel better quickly.

pat, thanks for the beautiful photo of the lighthouse. I like most love lighthouses. Why is that?

The stylish home, we are always under the swaps, and if you follow this thread, at the end (when everyone gets their gifts)
there is a notice there that the new swap has been posted.

Pat I told DH it wasn't Portland because I didn't see the arches in front of the house. It did look similiar though. My great grandmother was at two lights. Our light house Moosepeak light had a movie made there last summer. Only the light is there now because the Coast Guard blew up the house. I can hear the fog horn from my house. There is always something good in most everything. We are having extreme cold, but the oil prices are dropping. I still don't like to pay that bill but it could be higher.

I, too, love lighthouses. We went on one of those lighthouse tours in Narragansett Bay, maybe 2 yrs ago, i guess it was. I love history & the trip was fantastic. There are 10 lighthouses there & I have photos of all but the last one. The last one didn't look like a lighthouse so I missed it!
