Since I've been home and not driving around I did get my swap done and went out to mail it today. It is cold again and I had to shovel another 3 1/2". I was glued to the tv today. I hope that doesn't happen here. So bad. Rosemary hope everything goes great next week. This is Lorain lighthouse on Lake Erie

Beautiful pictures Pat. Thanks. Lynnie save me a seat. I'll be running along the train to catch it.When I was 18 my boyfriend and I hitched a ride on a train as it was leaving the station. We had to run along side of it and jump and grab onto a bar and pull ourselves up into a box car. scarey. Once on the train it was a lot of fun. We talked to a couple hobo's. We rode from san Francisco down south to los angels then had to catch another train back. It was a fun experience at the time when I was young and a daredevil. Have a warm and safe day.

Pat that's another very pretty pic of the lighthouse. My daughter in law use to collect little lighthouses to set up.

I joined the block of the month on Links at Craftsy by Jinny Beyer. They are free, and some choose to buy her kit. I will use my own fabric as many others are too. I can take my time, and review the video's as many times as I need to. I thought it would help me with learning some more skills. I can use all the help I can get. lol....

Have a great day everyone.

nhnative, do you really live that close to a lighthouse and post office? Very cool! I'm thinking you took that photo of the lighthouse, but correct me if I'm wrong. It's really a nice lighthouse, too!

lawsonmugs ... the good old days, huh? LOL ... you go girl!

Lynnie ... is that a trick question? Do you have the answer, or are you actually waiting for an answer? So who has the answer??? Duh!

I live near a PO but the lighthouse is probably 50 miles north of me on Lake Erie. I did take this one. In the summer they have tours that go to it. I haven't been on one though. Mary I would love to go on a train ride. There are trains going through my city a lot. They are freight trains. The only passenger train is in the National Park and I have yet to ride it. I'm sure they have a wine tasting ride or beer. It seems like beer is popular around here. Here's last pic of the day. I didn't take this one but have taken many of it. Just goes to show you what a professional can do

Lynnie and Mary save me a seat on the mystery train. I'd like some chocolate wine! I took my computer to be checked out. They will let me know tomorrow if it can be fixed or need replaced. I hope it isn't too long before I get it back. I can't do anything with the mystery quilt on this little netbook.

Pat thanks for the beautiful pictures.
