I bought some brightly colored dish towels at the LQS last time they were on Sale. Maybe I'll wait to see what my partner might prefer before starting. Not everyone will be into my "BRIGHT" towels I'm sure.

Teresa, I just did the same thing! I bought a set of 12 bright solid colored cotton tea towels from Amazon for a very good price. At least they are all different colors. I'm looking forward to this swap. I just spent some time on YouTube looking at different ideas for embellishing tea towels. I have made plenty in the past, but with just a strip of novelty fabric stitched across the base. I'm branching out now that I have some new ideas. The creative juices are flowing!

I'm still looking for all the towels I bought! Can't find them anywhere so went into town today and just the same stuff everywhere in the USA from Shopko.....Digging again tomorrow, in my head, to try and remember where I put them for the "safe" keeping....

Story of my world Jaba, I seem to put things away for safe keeping and then can't find the buggers.

I am in for this! I always love pretty tea towels.... Today I found some white "diaper cloth" that feels GREAT for kitchen towels. Can't wait to embellish them. I know exactly what I am going to do.
