Wow, labfairy, that is gorgeous!

Her outdoor theme was kind of difficult for me. I wish I knew how to applique. My first thought was I can make a tree...NOT. Lets just say I think I'll take a class. Cyndi ended up with my second ever paper pieced block. I was lucky that I found the pinecone fabric. Still wished I could have figured out how to make a tree. I'm going to have to work on that.

Wow! You are all so speedy! I spent part of today just figuring what block to make, let alone getting it done. Wish I was as quick as you...

I'm not speedy. That was July's block. My partner just received it at the end of the month.

That's one of the many things I love about this swap - it challenges us to try new techniques, explore new patterns, improve our skills along the way, and become each others' inspiration. :thumbup:
