I can hardly wait!!! I'll let you know when I get it. ThanksOriginally Posted by MadeinMaine
Cyndi, I posted a picture of your block on the other thread.
Here's a picture of the Klondike Star I sent CyndiH. I used a pattern from Marcia Holm at The Quilter's Cache.

Got to get the copywrite information correct. :-)
Very nice Klondike Star!
Her outdoor theme was kind of difficult for me. I wish I knew how to applique. My first thought was I can make a tree...NOT. Lets just say I think I'll take a class. Cyndi ended up with my second ever paper pieced block. I was lucky that I found the pinecone fabric. Still wished I could have figured out how to make a tree. I'm going to have to work on that.
Wow! You are all so speedy! I spent part of today just figuring what block to make, let alone getting it done. Wish I was as quick as you...
I'm not speedy. That was July's block. My partner just received it at the end of the month.
That's one of the many things I love about this swap - it challenges us to try new techniques, explore new patterns, improve our skills along the way, and become each others' inspiration. :thumbup:Originally Posted by lab fairy
