    Monthly Quilting Bee-Version lll

I'd like to welcome all to our new beginning of the Bee swap. I hope all enjoy it, and follow the instructions so that everyone is happy with their blocks.

If blocks do not fit the criteria of 12 1/2" unfinished, they will be returned to the sender. Sorry to be so direct but the idea is to receive nicely finished blocks.

    1. You will receive a swap pal name, and it is up to you to confer with your partner for theme and address. You will have ONE month to make one block for that person and send it to them. The blocks must be 100% prewashed cotton, 12 1/2" x 12 1/2" unfinished (12" when finally sewn into a quilt). You can make them in any fashion - pieced, appliqued, paper-pieced, embroidered, other methods - as long as you follow your swap partner's specifications to the best of your ability so their project can be unified. Please think carefully about your pattern and choice of fabrics, as some are not able to get out and purchase speciality items.

Again, this is supposed to be a fun swap, so everyone have fun. You may see the whole document under HOME, COMMUNITY, GROUPS, Monthly Bee Swap on the right side of the screen. Please contact me if you have any questions, or would like to join.

I need the scoop ladies how this works, what you did last year? what is the block exchange number of months? uh do you like cows ? lol.. um chat chat ladies chat chat. you have ME in the swap now surely you know things will be interesting and well.. odd even OUR dear swap leader has saddled herself with Me as a partner.. I know right? what was she thinking??? gulp now to live up to the high standards she has.. hope she doesn't have a wet noodle whip I am sure tired of that. after a while I get sticky from all that pasta starch!

LOLO Brat, you are such a nut... Glad you found it. I hope all the rest have found their partners too. Those that are an 'old hand' at this, know where to look. I 'splained how the swap works in your PM, hope you get the jist of it. Just have fun, and ME? have high standards??? Nope, just a nice 12 1/2" unfinished block and good fabric...lol A wet noodle? Nope, I use a yardstick, works on the dogs.. waahaaahaahaaaa..
