The attendance was down the last few months and they sent out an e-mail asking if everyone was still interested and I guess they weren't!! Now I have no where to go to quilt with friends!!! :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry:

oh sweetie, that is so sad. Where were you meeting? can someone host at their house? give a few people a call and get them together!

I wish I was closer, I would come!!!!!!!

Thank you. If we were all close we would surely bring the roof caving in anywhere we were. We met at the local Firehouse. They donated the place to us. They place is still there but the people don't want to do it. I may try to start a new one. Some of the ladies were not really friendly anyway. I am bummed though.

The odds are that there are others out there that want do have a group to work with that just didn't know about it, quilting can be such a social event. A place to share and talk and spitball issues etc. I love the board, but it isn't the same as meeting in person.
