Dotty -- I saw a civil war fabrics swap, but not a depression era one. Sorry I missed out on that on that one. That's not my theme though :?

here it is Oriental Lanterns -- Asian fabrics in black, red, gold, dk orange. and the background pieces in light tanish beige colors

Robert, I see your new Chinese lanterns block you want to do, it's very pretty. Asian fabrics are they silky/cottons types of fabrics? or Japanese style designs? Do Batiks work for the fabrics as well if they are Asian looking in patterns? There are a lot of beautiful fabrics out there you could use. Make one show us??
