Ok phew I am back and want to say what a sweet sweet suprise to see all those birthday wishes. Wow.. you guys are truly great so thank you. I had a quiet tired day which is ok all in all. No quilty stuff but and I say this well maybe this is a quilty stuff item :) I received so many things that day in the mail from the swaps I am in so I guess I won the quilt lotto after all! Here is a beautiful block I received that I think deserves applause.. the tone on tone is absolutely perfect and I love the block .. Thank you Tam...Moo!

I missed you guys something fierce. You can't know how support from everyone is like a dose of sunshine for me. I look forward to coming here and seeing what everyone is making, to hearing what is going on in everyones day and well to laugh with the best and dream with the rest. Not often do I get mushy but your all.. as the kids say.. the bomb. Thanks. oh the turkeys thank you too.. if I am smiling they get lots of bird seed. I guess the deer thank you also lol

oh ok here is the one I took this morning as the pigs I mean deer were stealing all the turkey food Note the turkeys still hung around one big one behind them and four or five closer to the deck. in the winter time when it snows I put it up on the top deck for them and they all come ... even those darn tall legged piglets. and the raccoons too. rarely the skunk flower comes up but she has done that too.. no spraying but a bit disconcerning just in case.. dont like much the just in case.. the cats.. who never go outside.. its like watching Marty Stoffers wild america.. I always even in winter open the front door a bit for fresh air and the sit there and grow big old fat eyes.. OMG what the heck is THAT.. thank god for screens. In our old house our ducks would come and one that loved Steve would waddle right on in to visit. He would stand at the door shaking his rear end so excited when he heard him pull in. Way too cute. I love these critters.

1000projects, I am sending out your blocks today. I made 2, since your hand dyed fabric did not deserve to become a member of a scrap pile! I received a lovely grown-up block from Fraew too! Thank you all.

Linda, next summer, I think I will just drive my motor home with ten kids over to your place. Are you park rangers? What a beautiful experience. Glad to see you back.
