Here are my Star of Virginia blocks. I should have the Shoofly blocks done in about 30 minutes... and then I'm taking a break before I start the others. They're still in time-out for another 2 weeks.
One of the SoV blocks wasn't my brightest moment - not one but two TWO!! directional prints in that one. Geeze Louise. That added about 6 extra hours to the project, I swear. |

My three fabrics
Here are the first 3 fabrics I purchased and began cutting out today. Decided to start with the hardest, the Double T block. Then if I decide on another set, then back to the quilt shop for me.
I have tried to upload a picture of my fabric but the system keeps telling me the upload failed. I even cropped the picture a bit to make it smaller. Any suggestions? Kristin Garnet1265 |
Kristin, if you hit reply, (as if you were going to reply), then "go advanced" and click on "manage attachments", you will get a list showing the maximum file sizes. Compare the allowed size for your file type to the size of your image file; it is likely still too big.

I just joined and have never used CW prints or at least I didn't know I was using them. I will post a picture of fabric the beginning of the week. Should be fun.

Thinking, thinking...I have lots of Civil War fabric but I told myself, no new projects until UFO are done...thinking, thinking.

What fun would it be if all of your projects were DONE!!!!????? It keeps us mentally active to have multi-tasking projects......Marcielee just joined......they are NOT hard to do despite the grumblings about the Double T. But we do have a shortcut to making them that is posted on the thread. We all help each other....and you will just love the blocks you get back.
