Thank you just a quilter for my beautiful dq. I love it

This is the dq that I sent to just a quilter it's reversible.

Here is the quilt that I sent to Handi and which she has now received. I think she was a bit surprised that we don't do Thanksgiving here, and a bit relieved too that she didn't have to try and get a quilt here by then.

I have called this quilt Lily's choice after the little girl who chose the colours for the chequerboard. I laid out a choice of twelve dark and twelve light fat quarters and asked her to choose five of each. Then she had to decide the order of the strips. She had great fun.

Krystyna, good to hear from you. I am sure you miss sewing very much but am glad to hear you keep putting one foot in front of another. Such is life isn't it? the challenges we endure .. how much stronger you are. I will continue to keep you in my prayers for a sense of peace and normalacy. I have moved 10 times plus over the last many years. I have pulled my personal items to a minimum. Needs and wants. If I need it it stays wants are a whole different catagory. they stay only if there is room. It simplifies life a bit.

I am finished with my second Dec doll quilt. Yipppee! how are you all doing on those?

Thanks TammyB...Things thankfully are back to normal her in NY and we had a quiet Thanksgiving just the two of us and Ms Big up in RI...
Krystyna our thoughts and prays are with you. Hope things are starting to come together. We had some family come stay awhile since they also got hit on LI but nothing like you, it does start to take a toll. Stay positive and let us know if you need anything and we'll all be happy to do whatever we can to help.
