    She showed me that you wrap the thread close to the end nearest the fabric, poke needle down where you want the knot to be, hold the thread taunt where the wraps are, then put the needle back into the fabric, then pull thru holding onto the thread closes to the wraps and tada, here it is. takes some concentration on my part but is working for me.
    Be very careful, scraps can reproduce like UFOs do.

    Yes that is the way to make them. I just like to lock them in place so they don't disappear back under the fabric.

    I think I have a theme for my blocks, if I don't change my mind. Think animals, but not kitties. Well, at least it's some progress, but I am going at this slowly.
