Girlscouts1, it's understandable that you may need a few extra days due to the big storm. No worries. Just wanted to touch base with everyone and see if we were all still on track. Mail as soon as you are able to do so. Thanks for checking in.

Recommendation that if you are not mailing on the 1st of November (storms, not finished, whatever), contact 1) Sauki1 and 2) the person to whom you are mailing. That way, our illustrious leader knows what's happenin' as does your recipient.
I am getting my box ready to go today and it will be in the mail later this week. I mail to you Sauki1, so will be sending a PM when it's on it's way to you - or we could just plan to meet for lunch 1/2 way and I'll give it to you. Except, I really don't know where Hinesville is. My sister is in Covington and we've met for lunch in Chattanooga.

I see the date has been moved up, well maybe I can get row mailed by the end of first week, in November. I have had company, and been on vacation. I had a few other deadlines prior to this one. I will be able to mail around 10th Nov. I thought we had deadliny as Dec.1.

We do Cuppy. We had all discussed about a month ago, that the deadline out at Dec. 1st was quite far off and most had completed their rows and were eager to send. I think Vanogay is right. Please let me know when you are mailing so that I can notify your partner. Also, it would be a good idea to PM your partner to let them know as well.

1/2 way for me would be a several hour drive. I'm near Savannah on the SE corner of GA. I'm not sure where Covington is as I'm a fairly new transplant here. Thank you for the offer though

Covington is about 40 miles east of Atlanta. And, half way to my sister was a 3 hour drive for us. We started out trying to meet for lunch about every 6 weeks after years of living way far apart. That didn't really work as their drive through Atlanta was way more stressful than our 3 hours on the freeway. Will mail and - as I said, PM you when it's on it's way.

Got your PM Cuppy. Don't know about always one month early - Sauki1??? But, joy, oh, joy - my row is in an envelope to mail today. Has label, check, has journal, check, has sashings, check. One word by way of apology - my 'journal' is really a mess. Remember I broke my arm (my dominant arm - my writing arm, my eating arm) and everything I do now is with my other arm - my right. Even type with just one hand. I guess the nuns in school were preparing me for this day, because I can sorta write with my right hand, but it's not great - you'll see when you get the journal. PLEASE Excuse the writing and if you can't read it - PM and I'll try to interpret!!!! Sauki1, I'll PM after the package is actually posted but planning to hit the PO after my PT this morning.

I don't think we agreed to send each time a month early it was just this first time. I think al of us would appreciate the 2 month time period to complete each row. This first time we all were just excited to get started.

Vanogay - working in a SNF for about 15 yrs, you get used to different types of handwriting. So, don't worry about it I'm sure I can get through it . Thanks for the heads up about sending your package. I should be able to get mine out this weekend as well. Will PM my partner.

    .
Cuppy, are you sure the mailing envelopes will do? They should work for your first submission, but the second one you send will be two rows and the third will be three rows. Won't the work, with the journal be too much for that envelope? Just asking, in case. By the time we all get to row 3 or 4, I think we'll be working on a small box and of course by the time we get it returned, it'll be in a medium size box - or at least I would think so.[/QUOTE]

I"m not in your RR but you can get the large tyvec envelopes. They will hold a lot and shouldn't cost more than $12 to mail.
