Not sure if I like the method the book says to do. Did it both ways, one is more secure. Just don't like the seams on the other and then you also have more background where you sew them down. You are not going to quilt by hand are you?

I did cut a few to many of the dresdan plates, like double. Yikes! I am going to make me one of these. May have to go and buy some more fabric, but the quilt would be worth it. These are turning out nice. I finished half of them last night and will do the other half tonight. I have to get that Denver Bronco quilt off the wall also so I can put this up. I am getting a highway jam here.

such beautiful colors! I am certain I machine sewed the wedges down to the background, the inside polka dot circles I fused with an iron and was going to hand sew the edges for security, which I may have forgotten to do. Hopefully they are holding up. If not, I'll just fix when they make it back!

So how is everyone doing? Looking forward to my next row in the mail. I am not sure, but think it is Whigrose's coming to me. I better get my thinking tank on. Have not seen any recent photos so not sure what it is looking like.
