Jean! Glad you checked in! I was getting worried. Can't wait to see what you create.
I'm in the middle of FMQing my quilt. Binding is on already. The only little hint I'll give is that the title is "Thief".

My DQ top is done, sandwiched, and ready to be quilted tomorrow night. Found a way to add a little Orange for us protestants and the Scottish too.
Just for fun you can check out this utube video of Irish Rovers (amazing band) singing The Orange and The Green.

Well, i bought some material for mine yesterday. I have a picture in my head of what I want to do, just need to translate it into fabric. I had one of those throw time to the wind moments last night. Seriously, I was in the left hand turn lane, with the left hand turn signal on; my car turned right. Home is left 2 miles, city is right 20 something. Mind you it is 5:00. I get to the LQS that is about half way to city, it is closed. Go Figure. But, I think Sew Elegant in Pt. Huron is open til 6, so on I go. I get there about 2 minutes after 6, they are closed. So I drive further down to Mary Maxim. They are closed. So, good ole Joannes. On the good side, I struck up a conversation with a fellow quilter that took my number and wants to get together some time. WhoooHoo! I think. Oh, I did get some fabric for this quilt and for an art quilt I am thinking about. Emphasis on thinking. Can't wait to work on my Green Thing!!!!

re-reading the swap rules and my quilt is more than a wee bit o green but if you count the rest of my life and the 8.5 inches of snow we received tuesday which will melt in to a large puddle o mud this weekend. this quilt is the only wee bit o green in my life right now. and mine is heading off in the mail today Yipee!

I cut most of the fabric for one of my quilts. Both of the quilts I am making have a St. Patrick theme.

Linda, your quilt is just gorgeous! Wow! Wonderful job.
Onalee, no doubt all those wrong turns and late arrivals brought you to the right place to meet a new friend! Good for you!
I am so excited! I'm going to meet some of the Quiltsy people for lunch on Saturday. Turns out one of them lives just a few blocks from our poor falling down house.

Just drove back from Omaha, and hit two fabric stores, oh what fun! Found a little bit of green, spent a little green and am anxious to begin "just a quilter" doll quilt tomorrow!
