Still thinking about the fabric for the dresses and the purse. I thought about getting a "leopard skin" print" for the purse...

BTW, I am drooling over all the posted blocks, especially the embroidered blocks and now starving for a donut.
This sounds so neat hopetoquilt! I would like a leopard purse my size... LOL.

ssnare, pretty blocks. I love mixing in pieced blocks. Sweet lady bugs.

hopetoquilt, have a good day crafting and have fun. I can't wait to see what you decide.

Hi Sandy. I am hoping to start my next set of blocks in a day or two. I have my pattern picked out and adjusted and a pretty good idea on fabric. Hope it all works out.

Hi judith,
The inspiration stage is kinda fun if you ask me. It is where I try to search my fabrics and patterns for just the right block. Sometimes it calls for a trip to the quilt store for fabric. It is a dirty job, but a gal does what she must... LOL!

I decided I needed to do Irises in honor of you Red. I stitched them up on Saturday while I was using the longarm. I have to take breaks every 15 minutes or so and had the embroidery machine working overtime. I have to put the floral fabric on them to make them 9.5" but mine are done then. I then stitched out the whole set of 12 designs so I can have them in my quilt. They are so pretty. I know you want a photo, but forgot to take one. Will see if can this week if I remember. Trying to do my 10 ufos and have Tam Moo's quilt all over the sewing area right now. Not to mention the jungle swap blocks and the siggie swap blocks that are due first. Oh, the OCD is overtime in me now.

How sweet of you quiltermomma! You sound like me with all the projects that need attention. I have to begin quilting my charity tops again if they are to be finished by november fashion show's silent auction. No matter, I will just try to do one on the quilting table and then a block for my swaps. It works out pretty well.

You need me to help out with the charity quilts to be quilted, let me know. I have bindings to be done. We could swap abilities. Especially since we have to mail blocks anyway, throw a quilt or two in the box and we are all done. LOL. Seriously. I just finished a charity one this weekend, that is why I had to take breaks (actually two of them). Posted the one in the pictures, Under The Sea. I made up my own pantograph. I like it. Not perfect at photos, but looks pretty. I did enjoy it.

Iris is one of my favorite flowers, besides the rose. I have done an oil painting of each.
