This is a great idea...and to have a brother that can make it for you is so nice...I was thinking one could be made smaller to put ribbon on...may mount on wall or under a shelf...what do you think?

Great idea for anything on a roll. Such as ribbons also.

Nifty idea. And I probably have enough room under my table to store a small one--that would just hold one roll of binding. This has got my wheels turning...

"Piecin' a quilt's like livin' a life...The Lord sends us the pieces, but we can cut 'em out and put 'em together pretty much to suit ourselves, and there's a heap more in the cuttin' and the sewin' than there is in the caliker...I've had a heap of comfort all my life making quilts, and now in my old age I wouldn't take a fortune for them." Found this on pinterest and think it would also work very well. Wish I'd thought of it myself. I've got one of these freestanding tp holders.Name: yarn holder.jpg
