Empty Colorful Vitamin Bottles

If there is no companys actually using recycled plastic it makes no sense for the recyclers to keep taking them.
I do not understand why yoghurt, cottage cheese, frosting cans, sour cream etc are Not 1 and 2 recycleable. Makes me crazy in fact.

I use them for storing bobbin in them. Also store sewing machine feet in them and label bottle. I also store buttons in them. They have so many uses that I never threw them away. My husband stores his quarters in them and keeps the bottle in his car to us at the car wash.

My Mother in Law always put her change in them. Different sizes for each. 1. pennies 2. nickels, 3. dimes, 4. quarters.
She always had laundry change, drink machine, snack machine, best all for my Kids she would give them to my kids
when i would take her to the grocery store. They would get a treat to eat for a snack or gum machines. On a good day
they would get a dip cone.

I can't give you any ideas about the colored bottles, but I reuse the larger prescription bottles. I drill a hole in the lid, then use them to throw away old needles. You can just drop a used needle through the hole in the lid, then there are no worries about anyone getting stuck by a loose needle in the trash. ☺
