Default Finally! Hubby came thru bigtime...

That's right, I finally got my DH to actually get my wall of shelves made. Beings he had no choice, that is. As some of ya may know, I have received a TON of fabric from a family cleaning out their moms house and 3 storage sheds. The mom was a severe hoarder, of FABRIC!! That caused a serious problem here, as I just had no place to put even a quarter of it. But, just had to have as much as I could get. LOL!! The fabric dates from the late 50s up thru 1998. I am still washing, drying, & ironing it but this is my progress so far. I will update as I go along.
Thanks for all of you who have posted in this part of the forum, all ya'll are so inspiring and have given me the crazy idea that.. Yes! I can do this. Much love!

First pic is before. Boxes under the sewing table are holding my "stash" before I started getting more.

2nd pic is during "remodel". The bags are the "new" fabric. There are 18 bags and 5 more boxes of this new stuff.

3rd pic is another view of my studio during all this chaos.

Last pic is the clean slate wall that will become floor-to-ceiling shelves.

Ok, here is last pic for few days I think. LOL!
These are the shelf units (2 of them) we made, with what looks like a measly stash on them. Funny, in boxes under the table it sure seemed like so much more. Now I am wondering if all this new stuff is even gonna fit! Alas, "don't worry babe" he says to me... "I can make another shelving unit out of the closet, if that's what ya need." Sometimes, ya just gotta love 'em.

Very Nice wish I had that much room in my sewing/craft room - you are truly fortunate - have fun sorting - it looks wonderful
