For those who have asked about the juki, I really haven't played with it much yet. It has a 9" throat.
I got to play in my new room today because I had some things to get done for my quilt guild meeting tomorrow but after that I have to work on figuring out where everything is going.

I love my Juki 2010 and have it on a frame (which I purchased from a member from this board). For the cost of my set up it is wonderful. I have less than $1500 for the whole set up including stitch regulator. You are really limited to the type of free motion quilting your can do because you don't have a huge throat but for meandering and "cute" meandering it works good. I have been able to make waves and everything with mine. If you want to do quilting professionally you may want to get bigger machine, but the way I look at it, it will get me through this time, and even if I get a bigger throat machine down the line, I will still have the best work horse for piecing in the Juki. That is just my opinion but I free motion quilted 6 queen size quilts on a singer embroidery machine the Christmas before last so this is so much better.

My room is so the opposite of yours. Nothing matches. I have all types of dressers for my fabrics and rubbermaid tubs under my cafeteria type tables to store more fabric. I have bookcases and storage units and lots of FQ boxes I bought, all to store my fabric. I put my 24x72 cutting mat on my two long tables with a piece of plywood (cut the same size) under it so it doesn't sag. My room is cluttered. I always have too many projects going at once. Compared to your room, my room looks like a crazy woman lives there. How I would love to have your desks and tables. I love the white on them. Classy look!

Could I ask you what all do you have on your Juki on your frame to make it into a quilter machine? I wold like to do that to mine...........Could you please let me know> Thanks
OK, the rooms in my house aren't big to begin with and I will still also be in the old sewing room (cutting table and ironing board).
I bought a juki machine last year from a friend on another forum and then the quilting frame to put it on and so it began........
Today DH put the tables and draws together (IKEA)
