Thanks for all the pictures -- My new quilting room is a couple feet longer, but I'm still working on it. The laminate flooring I bought wouldn't lay flat without gaps, so I'm back to square one on it. As a renter, what kind of floor do you have in your nook?

I share your pain...
After selling our home in Colorado many years ago I have missed the basement I had my sewing space in there. Since leaving I have had my sewing things packed away for a few years before we moved here to Florida and now that I have established a space here I have had to share my space. I have now put my foot down and decided I am NOT sharing my space any longer! Here are a few photo's of my small space, small but MY space and I love it! Judith

Years ago, I had an old house with very leaky windows. I found the Warm Windows, used it as batting along with a fabric coordinating with my rooms and made Roman shades for all the windows in the house. The directions showed how to put maqnetic strips in the seams. I put magnetic strips on the window molding. When shades were lowered, I was able to completely seal the windows. It made a HUGE difference in the air infiltrating the house. It was made by The Warm Co. I don't know if it is still available.

Love your small space---you have made it so workable and useful. I, too, quilt small.....gotta learn how to post pictures.....Large spaces do not make prolific quilters and you and I are examples of that. if you love it and do, size is just another consideration to deal with. You go, girl!!!
