My wonderful husband gave me the attached double car garage for my quilting space this summer and I will tell you that I am enjoying every minute in that awesome space. The cars and tools were moved out and I painted the floor - peg board and washed the walls etc. It has wonderful windows across the front and the natural light is so nice, it is heated - so now that the weather is turning colder it is toasty warm out there. I have had 3 ladies join me to sew in the "Quilt Garage" and we have a great time!!! Enjoy your new space - you will love it!!!

Although you have cleaned out your hubby's things, he will always be there with you. He would be so happy that you are doing ok & doing something for yourself that you enjoy & makes you happy. You must miss him terribly. God bless you & I will keep you in my prayers. Enjoy your time with your new LAQ.

Do any of you ladies have a painted barn quilt on your sewing spaces out in the garages? I plan on putting one out on my wall by the windows when my room gets done. They are so nice. I have seen where you can buy them to put up, but I plan on painting mine myself.

Soooooooooo, it is spotlessly clean, tile is being laid as we speak and the guys are due any time now to put the table together. I am so excited I can hardly wait. It was hard to let go of some of DH's things, but it was also time to move on in my life and put that machine up. Wish me luck, I have a lot to learn
