Me too. I have the bedroom/sewing machine combo too. It is a challenge at times. I am wanting to change to a twin bed also but wonder if I could get used to one, after so many years of a double. I would love to see pictures of your combo room, when it is done/

Selveges: Don't have a specific size that I cut them. I just like the way they look in the jars and am amazed how often I go back and dig through to find out what a specific fabric was called.

Bedrooms: My bedroom closets are the tiniest things! A small bi-fold door covers the entire thing in each spare room. AND... my kids and grandkids come often enough that I don't want to take out or rearrange the furniture enough to make room for sewing. AND :) I teach piano in the living room part of that space. It's a 1970's formal living/dining room at the front of the house. I sew in the dining end and teach piano in the living room end. There's a squared off opening between the two spaces. When a piano student is running late - I'm sewing a seam. Works for me.
