Sweety it looks like we are both in the same boat as far as how "big" our "little" sewing rooms are. I have started going UP the walls too as there is no more room on the floor but for my walk way to the sewing machines & cutting table. My big ironing board is in DH little Man Cave.

I have the same ceiling and small wall space . Can I use some of your ideas?

Where's your sewing machine? Great storage areas.

Behind the box of filing! And others are under the sewing desk or downstairs ready to go to quilting group. For some reason DH doesn't like carrying the Pfaff 1222SE upstairs and downstairs. Go figure.

It's amazing what you come up with when you live in a space for awhile. And what you come across on Kijiji and friends' castoffs. Requires a very open mind - and determination NOT to add to the fabric stash. But I have to go buy some purples for a baby quilt. Maybe when I get everything on comic boards it will free up some space.

Thanks so much for sharing. I'm working on one too and I need to know how much padding he put under the ironing board cover. Any help would be appreciated. I have the baby changing table...garage sale $30.00, repair of door--$20.00. So I could put more into it. Will retire in 3 years and get to my quilting, I'm collecting everything I'll need.

Those of us with small rooms have to work extra hard to get it all in there and organized. You did a great job and kudos to your hubby for a good job on his innovations. Never thought of putting a light on the cutting table, I need that as my corner is dark so I might copy the idea. Nice looking room, thanks for sharing.
