Pictures when completed will be appreciated. I love the idea of horizontal roll storage for your batting. I'd love that too. Won't ever happen at this point for me as my sewing studio is in full view of the kitchen, family room and front entrance of our home. Not aesthetically pleasing enough. Maybe with some artwork covering it... who knows. Pics though...

I have roll of batting on long wooden pole. Had issues with cutting till I figured out putting a yard stick on top of the roll, mark with pen and then cut it with scissors. It is so much easier to measure and only cut what I need this way
