Still having my very first cup of coffee and thought I had written this responce already. Guess Yooper did, tho, so I'm just quoting. Seriously - where's all your stuff?

Love the colors, nice spacey room, so organized, and room to breathe.

LOve your room. So nice and neat. Mine is a disaster area. Ikea is a great source for fairly inexpensive desks tables etc. They have different heights etc. You can switch out the table legs too. I had a set up all picked out and was saving for it when a friend needed some sewing done and traded it for a custom made set-up. He works at a place that makes the laminate coated furniture. He made me a cabinet out of mostly reject pieces. I can't find the flaws on the pieces but I guess they are there somewhere. Mostly he could cut around the flaws. It fits in the corner of my room and is perfect.

Anything that works for you is what is important. Great space.

It would be a real treat to work in such a well planned well organized studio. I had to chuckle about your comment that he was the same husband who made the thread cabinet. Definitely a keeper!

A great large room for quilting. Wheres your fabric?

Looks great. The other idea and suggestion that may help you is to back your desk system to the wall. The wall will help keep your quilts contained and not fall over the edge of your desk as easily.
