Looks like you've got everything you need right at your reach. My DH is a wood worker to. Isn't great how they help you make things for the hobby rooms. I've gone to Quilting classes and have actually sold some of the neat stuff he has made me. We are both lucky to have such wonderful DHs.

love your room. Is that a long arm behind your sewing machine? If so, how much room do you have between it and your chair at the sewing machine? Are you bumping into it at anytime when you roll your chair out? I am looking to set my room up similar but am really worried there won't be enough room between the quilter and my sewing area. What is the pad underneath your chair? I have the same issue of rolling away from my machine. Drives me nuts. Sorry for all the questions.

It is not a long arm, but a short arm, I think. It is a Little Gracie frame with a Juki TLQ 98. I have 54" between my chair and the quilt frame (I went down and measured). The chair no longer has wheels, but I didn't have any trouble with bumping into the frame when it did have wheels. The pad you are referring to that is under my chair is a piece of particle board that my husband custom cut just for that purpose. DH is very clever when it comes to solving my sewing room issues.
