What a surprise to open your email and see the twin to my beloved White machine. It was so tired and worn-out that I replaced it several years ago with a lovely new machine. And this Christmas season hauled out the old machine again because it would sew on heavy fleece and the boiled wool coat that I'm relining. My new machine does wonderful things and sews like a dream, but certainly is not the workhouse the White machine is. My husband bought the White for me 40 years ago, on his lunch hour, and I sewed everything for our two boys (now in their 40's), our home, my clothes and my husband's suits and sport coats for years. It is by far, the very best machine I've ever had and it still works hard. The only problem is carrying it around in the portable case because it's so heavy ('cause it is good solid steel!).

Thanks! Hopefully the new pictures will be added -- I emailed them to the community manager since they didn't work when I tried!

Looks as though you have a great sewing room. I would make better use of the closet and take the fabric out of the plastic bins and put it on shelves in the closet. Fabric needs to breath, and you can view your stash more easily.
    Happy Quilting!

Nice and tidy how. Love your old machine too. They sure would go through the thick stuff.

The New Year is definately good for re-organizing. I spent the whole day working in my sewing room, made great progress, but a long way to go. I have several small totes and bags full of scraps I wanted to use for making crumb quilts. I love those. I use to collect everyones scraps at my quilt group. I will keep at it... thanks for your inspiration. Quilter 1234
