Default The Chicago Expo Sewing & Quilting Show

    Has anyone been to this?
They offer two shows a year, I think.
One in Schaumburg, IL, and the other in Tinley Park, IL.
The Tinley Park show starts tomorrow and runs thru Sat.
It's about 90 minutes from me,
and I've decided I'm going to give myself a nice day and GO.
Dh said he would go with me on Friday but it would make for too long of a day,
because we have wknd. plans of going out of town ... we'd have to drive all the way back home again, only to have to turn around & come that direction again.

I think I really, really want to go to this show because I am interested to check out the quilting machines and their prices, and I want to see what's new in sewing machines also (though I'm NOT in the market for one).

It will be fun to see what else they have on display.
I've never been to such a show like this before.
    Only for knitting.

If you're going, maybe we could meet up?

I attended International Quilt show at the Rosemont this year. (It was the first year back in Chicago). So I won't be attending. If you can wait till June , I am sure more quilting machine vendors will attend the International Show.

The Tinley Park show is held in a hotel. Perhaps you could spend the night instead of going home and then coming back the next day. If it's full, there are other hotels in the area.
