The P's and Q's Quilt Group of the United Presbyterian Church are holding another Quilt Show and Tea at the church, 25 Church Street, Cortland, NY. Show is from 10 am till 3 pm and the $4 admission price includes the show admission plus pots of hot tea and home baked cookies. There will be several demos, a little sale shop, and a special exhibit of the quilts they make for the Linus project. For more information phone the church office at 607-756-5689.

I just looked Cortland up on mapquest, since my 14 yr old quilting GD and I will be in Claverack NY that weekend. Too far away.
Hope you have a wonderful time.

Guess so. Cornell University is nearby and they have a apple development program, probably found the parent tree in Cortland. There are lots of great orchards up here, and very good apples.

I know. I go to Peru, just outside of Plattsburg orchards are plentiful. I just can't find the Peru apples down here but lots of Cortlands.

I'd go if I still lived in the area. Wasn't into quilting when I did live there..... To bad my daughter or sister aren't interested...

I can't be there, BUT, am so excited to know there is quilting in that area. Our youngest will be attending Elmira College in the Fall and Cortland is not too far from Elmira.

Are there quilt shops in that area? If so, can you share so I can make some pit stops :)

    Thanks!
