Shops near Valley Forge,PA

DH and kids will be attending a game convention at the Valley Forge Convention Center in Valley Forge, PA. I'll need something to do while they are doing their game thing. Any good quilt shops or museums that I should not miss?

I'm not from there but did a google seach and these came up, you might want to call first to see if they are still open and hours they are open, they could also give you some ideas what to do in the area for quilt shops

Depending on how much time you've got.....you are about an hour to an hour and a half from Lancaster county's Pennsylvania Dutch Country where there are 5 quilt shops within a few miles of each other. There are more but scattered further apart. The prices are better than your LQS and there is a quilt museum above THE OLD COUNTRY STORE (they do charge admission for the museum). It's a good trip if you can spend the day. If you're interested, let me know what your schedule is. If you don't have that much time there are other LQS to visit in the area.

Chester County Quilting is about 20 minutes away in Phoenixville. Their website is chestercountyquilting.com. Also Steve's Sewing and Vacuum is right in King of Prussia. Steve's website is stevessewandvac.com. Also right down the road is the Plaza and the Court at King of Prussia. No quilt shops there, but plenty of mall shopping.
