Default Smoky Hill quilt guild members?

I should be moved to the Denver area by the middle of next month. I searched and found the Smoky Hill Quilt Guild that meets in Centennial. I don't think it's too far from where I'll be staying and would love to meet anyone in the area.

What part of the Denver area are you moving to? My husband and I just retired to Aurora.....very near Centennial. I am just getting my quilting room in order.

To start with I'm going to live with my girlfriend. I'll be right in the Hampton and Chambers area. I'll be there by the middle of next month. Maybe we can meet up and go to guild together?

    Sissor Queen and nana2madmax,

You have inspired me to finally register rather than just lurking in the background. My name is Liz, and I belong to Smoky Hill Quilt Club, we would be delighted to have you join us for our next meeting -- it will be June 20, Social time at 6:00 p.m. and meeting starting at 6:30 p.m. If you would like to contact me off the board, I would be happy to give you an overview of the group. We are small but very personable!

I don't know yet where we will be in June as we are still going back and forth to our home in Steamboat.....Here is my email address:

You will be really close to me....we live between Hampton and Quincy, just off of Reservoir (Tower turns into Reservoir just south of Hampden).

I made the move and I'm at my girlfriend's. I discovered a fabric store right here in one of the shopping areas. I haven't had a chance to get over there yet. It's in the shopping area on the south and east corner of Chambers and Hampden. I think it's called The Thread Rack. I'm looking forward to Thursday evening.
