Hello to all.
Anyone on this board going to the Chicago Quilt Show June 19-21?
Wish we had a way to identify ourselves so we could say hello to each other.
Any ideas? Could be fun.

Hi Donna ........... Cathy here from Indiana I am going on the 21st how about a name tag that has our name and says quilt board on it ? we could all pick the same color of tag?

I'm in FL so won't be there but do they issue name tags with tickets? I would suggest just highlighting your names in yellow or neon green or bright pink - something easily seen from a short distance. If they don't issue name tags you all can do the same, just have a white background.

HI, I'm going on Thursday, the 19th. I have been invited by a fellow quilter who is going with her friends. Haven't met the other ladies, but I'm sure it will be fun! Don't really know what their plans for the day are, they will update me later.

I would not miss this show! It is one of my favorite events. I get too excited to sleep ! Its better than Disney!

I'm am going on Thursday! The show is in Chicago, at the McCormick place. I'm only 35 miles east of the city!

I'd love to go , but refuse to drive in Chicago .Grand daughter was here from Colorado for her sisters graduation & had to get a friends parent to take her to the airport . She missed her shuttle bus out of South Bend . I used to drive there out of NO CHOICE .Used to take ex mother in law up to University of Chicago Hospital weekly , when she passed I vowed to NEVER drive in that city again , it is a rat race & exits & on ramps are right next to each other. The truckers are crazy , not a city for me .( PLUS out of stupidity on my first trip I got a room in Calumet & prayed ALL NIGHT LONG the bullets that were going around would not hit me & whom ever was banging on my door wasn't big enough to push the door in ) Hope any & all that are going will have a great time !!!

My quilt guild is going on June 21. I think it is being held at Rosemont, not Mc Cormick place. At least, when you google it, it is shown as the Chicago International Quilt Festival at Rosemont.
