Thread: "I Have a Dream" Quilt is DONE!!!

This is the first star quilt I've made and the first one I'm please with that has come off my Longarm! While I see boo-boos, I'm pleased with it! It's from ALL scraps (except backing). The quilt is 51x68. I chose to not do a border....to let the stars have center stage.

The pattern is called "I Have a Dream" from Judy Martin's book, Cookies 'n' Quilts. Her patterns are so easy to follow!!!

I agree, no borders!! It's a lovely use of scraps!! I love your stars, are they paper pieced?? :?

NOPE!!! Pieced! Not hard at all though.

I love your quilt and did you hand quilt it?

Thank you - and no, I have a Longarm and am still in the stage of "learning"...oh boy am i learning!

By the way...what pattern is that? And I forgot to mention that I love the white and light tan background you used.

I mentioned in the first posting what pattern it is....the stars are a friendship star pattern....but the overall layout is by Judy Martin
