I had posted the finished top to this a little while ago asking for quilting suggestions. Since people noted that it really won't show, except on the back - I thought it was a good opportunity to play around with different techniques. It was fun and I learned a lot.

Because I choose an old red blanket as batting and a light sheet as backing, the back looks almost like it has the chicken pox. But no mind. SIL doesn't care. I don't care. I'm glad to have another one done. tgif!

DH used to live in Hawaii and always said they could spot the tourists by the shirts they wear. Hence the name - "Tourist Trap".

I didn't get a pic of the label, but it's a mini quilt, attached into one of the pockets.

Materials - Skirts, shirts and scraps.
Pattern - none
batting - old blanket
backing - old sheet

total cost: about $10.00

Her kids names printed onto the block

It thinks it lovely and outside the box! LOVE LOVE LOVE outside the box look. The different blocks really make you take another look to see whats going on. Great work!
