    I found this photo of my first quilt. That was 4 years ago. It was an easy pattern, but I see now that the color selection of the fabric was not so great. The center blocks are a tan and blue paisley, which can't be seen.

    I really like the colors you used, I think they go good together. Oh and I like the pattern too. You did great.

    That is really pretty. I would have never guessed it to be a 1st quilt. My first was a flannel front and back and was tied (now that is a simple quilt)

    I think it is a wonderful 1st quilt. But now with your experience, it may look simple to you. Be proud of what you have learned and accomplished in your quilting since then. :thumbup:

    I love the colors and the design. It may not be all you hoped for - I've had my share of those projects - but look what you've accomplished. A beautifully made quilt and now you've learned a lesson in color and fabric choice.

    I think you did a great job on this quilt. The fabrics you chose have a very old fashioned look to them :D:D:D
