I found this photo of my first quilt. That was 4 years ago. It was an easy pattern, but I see now that the color selection of the fabric was not so great. The center blocks are a tan and blue paisley, which can't be seen.

I really like the colors you used, I think they go good together. Oh and I like the pattern too. You did great.

That is really pretty. I would have never guessed it to be a 1st quilt. My first was a flannel front and back and was tied (now that is a simple quilt)

I think it is a wonderful 1st quilt. But now with your experience, it may look simple to you. Be proud of what you have learned and accomplished in your quilting since then.

I love the colors and the design. It may not be all you hoped for - I've had my share of those projects - but look what you've accomplished. A beautifully made quilt and now you've learned a lesson in color and fabric choice.

I think you did a great job on this quilt. The fabrics you chose have a very old fashioned look to them :D:D:D

You were braver than I on your first quilt. If I could figure out how to post pics I'd show mine. Then you would really see how great yours is. Keep up the good works.

VEry nice job for a first quilt. As for the colors. They are always a matter of personal taste. Make whatever you fancy.

I think it's a great quilt. It doesn't look like a first quilt. Great job.
