I started making these Sunday afternoon after 24 hours without touching anything to do with quilting. These started out as lap quilts for my two neices but came out more baby quilt size...so I told them they were picnic quilts. They are really fluffy.....

front & back

purse I made out of the left over squares

What sort of batting did you use to make sooo fluffy?

poly-fil extra loft BUT...I used 2 pieces...wanted to see how it looked - kind of like it
