2014 guild magazine page challenge

After receiving the magazine page and looking at the ad for paint, I was inspired to do a project about color: Mother nature's colors of Flowers in a Basket.
After ideas from you smart and talented quilters, I am going to rearrange the flowers so the handles of the basket show....and it doesn't look like a plate.
I also plan to follow the advice of using ric rack to give the basket dimension.
Oh I wouldn't change a thing. I don't think your design looks like a plate, I think it represents the top of the paint can. You did a great job of interpreting the advertisement.
