Sorry for your loss... Same thing happened to me. My hubby was healthy as a horse ( so we thought) and fell over dead age56, sitting next to me on front porch. Your quilt is beautiful and once you do get back to quilting it may help with the being alone.. I hope for you... Did work for me. I did remarry which never dreamed I' d do and have a good man.

So Sorry for your Loss. I totally believe that Quilting is my Therapy, Not cheaper then a Pscologist. But I don't have to talk with anyone but my Quilt Police!! Your quilt is Beautiful as well as the quilting. It's all yours so if there is a mistake you are the only one who knows and I don't think your kitty is telling !!

I join your other friends here on the QB in expressing our condolences in the loss of your husband. But you did him an honor in finishing up that beautiful quilt. And even though I did not look for any "mis-steps" keep in mind the old saying "who's to notice from the back of a galloping horse at 40 paces.".....
