Default 2nd King Size Quilt for my bed

On 8/11/2012 I printed out a picture of a beautiful quilt done by jennr8r. I just loved the colors and wanted to duplicate it for my bed. On 8/18/2012 my beloved husband passed from a massive heart attack. He was the proverbial healthy Tarzan type. Needless to say I wasn't up to much of anything for quite a while. Now two years later I have finally finished it and put it on my bed.

I have an Innova quilting machine and also use the retrofit MQR from Ellen Munich, along with the ProQdesigner program. I just love my setup. While quilting away I made many user errors and decided I would just place a pin and unstitch once the quilt was off the frame. Bet you know where I'm going with this now. I really can't see the mistakes very much now unless I get very close so I just took the pins out and said "that's it". Lesson to all, don't fret too much while your nose is up close and personal to your quilting errors. That is unless you are going to submit your quilt for judging.

1st. picture is the back of the quilt showing the quilting. I used multicolored thread.
2nd. is close up of quilting on the front
3rd. is full picture
4th. is one of my quilt police making sure I cut all the threads.

Beautiful pattern and if there are quilting flaws, I can't see them!

Congratulations on finishing the quilt. It is gorgeous. I'm sure you found much comfort in working on the quilt. And your quilting looks great.
