Nice variety! I wonder if it was my helix quilt on here that is like your second one? The only difference is that I separated my columns and you joined yours. Both make cool patterns. I'm going to do another. It was so much fun. Work (trying to make up my mind just how to place all those different HSTs) but fun. http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...d-t281572.html

I'' feeling like a dork at the moment - I do not understand the word "flimsy". I've been in the quilting world for 37 years and have never come across the use of this word regarding quilts. To me the word flimsy means thin or cheap as in flimsy fabrics. And I'm sure this is not the meaning you all are using. Is it regional or cultural or??? I was born in PA but spent 48-1/2 years of my life in Phoenix. I now live in NC and have never encountered the word here either.
