    Default 3 Quilts in One

In our annual retreat to Algonquin Park in September my friends and I assembled a strip quilt. A little different than usual, we each brought around a quarter yard of wof cuts of children suitable materials. We took turns sewing one giant piece and then I cut it in three and quilted them with different backings and different simple motifs.
I'll pass them back to others in my group who will trim and bind them. They will go asap to our organization of choice, one that sadly works with abused children.

What a lovely idea. The children will be thrilled. How sad when there are so many couples that would love and cherish a child to have abused children in this world.

What a great idea to all bring strips, sew them together, and then divide the piece up. One of my pet peeves with jelly roll quilts is when there are repeats of fabric close together, and your way would help prevent that.

Beautiful work by all and they will be wonderful donations. Nothing more sad than abused children, you ladies are great.
