    here are the last 2 french braids for my cousin in iowa. these were also quilted by the wonderful ladies in my local quilt shop.

    Your quilts are beautiful. I have never tried the french braid pattern. It is a harder pattern to make? I love all of the colors you have used.

    thanks for looking at my quilts.
    for anyone thinking about making a french braid, i say go for it. it is one of the easiest methods around. it is actually just a half log cabin that you just keep adding to until it is as long as you want. then you just trim off the sides and you have a french braid.
    if you get on QUILTER'S CACHE search for braid. they have a good description. have fun. don't be intimidated. it is really very simple.
